Miller Mathis was formed in February 2004 as an independent investment bank. The firm provides its clients with sophisticated insights and creative solutions for complex business problems.

We have two business units:

Investment Banking includes strategic advice, mergers and acquisitions, strategic relationships, restructurings and assistance in financings. We serve clients across the globe, including industry-leading companies in India, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Australia and, of course, the U.S.

Our primary industry focus is in steel, metals and mining, in which we are considered one of the world’s leading investment banks. We represent many of the major global steelmakers and other strategic players. Our particular expertise is in the areas of strategic advice and relationships, and mergers and acquisitions. We also have significant experience in other so-called Old Economy and capital-intensive industries such as energy, aviation and telecom.

Litigation Support and Fiduciary Services includes expert testimony and litigation support services with respect to complex financial matters such as enterprise valuation, corporate finance and restructuring (fraudulent conveyance, etc.). We also advise management and boards of directors, and serve as trustee, liquidating trustee, and in similar fiduciary capacities, in bankruptcies, post-bankruptcy litigation trusts and other troubled situations.

Our Advisory Board is comprised of renowned experts in the areas of steel, telecom/energy and high yield bonds.

All of our assignments are personally led by the firm's principals, Robert M. Miller and H. Sean Mathis, who each has over 25 years of experience advising clients on sophisticated, complex transactions. They are supported by an experienced financial advisory team.
